This is a strong solid beech timber framed manual seat lift chair to assist rising and to gently lower the user into the seat. The chair has a safe controlled action with 3 pressures of piston: low (up to 9 stone): medium, fitted as standard (9-12 stone) and strong (over 12 stone) Other pressures are available to special order. The locking handle secures seat in down position (standard on right of seat but may be on left to special order) Optional handle extension may be retrospectively fitted to facilitate operation of locking device at extra cost. Medium lumbar and neck support standard. Extra support as per Guernesy chair available at extra cost. Available with kingsize seat 510mm (20”) wide by 480mm (19”) deep at extra cost. Seat depth may also be reduced by 20mm ( ¾”) if required at extra cost. Seat height standard at 510mm (20”) but may be increased up to 660mm (26”) or reduced down to 405mm (16”) in multiples of 25mm (1”) at extra cost where higher than standard. Back height may be increased by up to 50mm (2”) at extra cost. The chair has a strong underframe to withstand heavy usage. It may be fitted with pressure reducing visco-elastic foam in the seat as an optional extra.
