Orientation is designed to expand the therapeutic repertoire of staff working with confused elderly people who are already adopting a 24 hour approach to reality orientation (RO). Successful RO is an individualised approach aimed at enhancing and maintaining the individual’s mental ability. The game can be played by four players or two groups of players following a colour coded track, Red – memory, Blue – general knowledge, Yellow – numbers and Green – Letter Dice. The colours correspond to a set of cards consisting 18 items.
